Connect essentials

During setup you may have skipped some connections to save time. Before real clients book, finish the links that keep your calendar accurate, payments smooth, and messages delivered.

Open SettingsAppsApp Store in the side menu. Browse or search for what you need, then follow the on-screen steps to connect each app.

App Store

Calendar

Pick the calendar you check every day. Timelish can add new bookings there and read your existing events to avoid double bookings.

AppBest for
Google CalendarGoogle Workspace or personal Gmail calendars; can add Google Meet links.
OutlookMicrosoft 365 or Outlook.com calendars.
CalDAVOther calendar providers that support CalDAV.
Calendar feed (ICS)Read-only busy times from a calendar URL another system provides.

If you chose email attachments during setup instead of a direct calendar link, bookings arrive in your inbox as calendar files you can import. That works, but a direct connection is easier long term.

Payments

Connect one payment processor you already use for your business:

After connecting, you can require a deposit or full payment at booking. Adjust deposit percentage under SettingsAppointment settings or per service.

Customer notifications

Make sure clients receive confirmations and updates:

Review starter templates under SettingsCommunications so the wording sounds like you.

Reminders and follow-ups

Appointment notifications sends reminders before visits and optional follow-ups after. The setup wizard may have created a day-before email reminder - confirm it is still what you want.

Install these when they fit your business - not required for launch:

  • Zoom or meeting links from your calendar app - for online appointments.
  • Forms - contact or intake forms on your site.
  • Waitlist - let clients join a list when you are fully booked.
  • My account - let clients sign in to manage their own appointments.

After you connect

Open Installed to confirm each app shows as connected. If something fails, see Apps troubleshooting.
