Manage bookings and customers

Your site is live and tested. Here is where day-to-day work happens inside your dashboard - approving bookings, talking to clients, and looking up customer history.

Appointments list

Incoming bookings

New bookings appear in two main places:

Dashboard home

Your morning starting point. The calendar shows what is coming up. If you do not auto-confirm bookings, open the Pending appointments tab to approve requests waiting on you.

Appointments

The full list of every booking. Use filters to find visits by date, service, or status. From here you can also add an appointment by hand for phone or walk-in clients.

Work with a single appointment

Click any appointment to open its detail view. Common actions:

  • Confirm - approve a pending request so the client receives confirmation.
  • Reschedule - move the visit to a new time (you or the client may do this, depending on your settings).
  • Decline - cancel or reject a booking.
  • Edit - update notes or details.
  • Send message - email or text the client from Timelish.
  • Schedule again - create a follow-up booking based on this one.

Tabs on the detail screen include Payments, Files, Communications, and History - useful when a client calls with a question.

Customers

Open Customers in the side menu for everyone who has booked or been added manually.

Search by name, email, or phone. Click a customer to see:

  • Details - contact information you can edit.
  • Appointments - full visit history and a shortcut to schedule a new one.
  • Files - documents attached to this client.
  • Communications - recent messages and a way to send a new one.

There is no separate "Contacts" area - Customers is where client records live.

Inquiries and waitlist

Timelish does not have a generic inbox. Instead:

Form responses

If you installed the Forms app, contact and intake submissions appear under WebsiteFormsResponses. Check here for messages that are not tied to a booking.

Waitlist

If you installed Waitlist, clients who could not find a time can join a queue. Manage entries from the Waitlist area under Appointments.

Communication logs

SettingsCommunicationsLogs shows outbound emails and texts Timelish already sent - helpful when a client says they never received a message.

Hand off to everyday reference

You now know the core loop: clients book on your site, you manage visits in Appointments, and you look people up in Customers.
