Waitlist notifications

Works together with Waitlist. After you turn it on, Timelish can email your team when a new row is added and can email the customer who joined. You assign an email template to the customer-facing message when that option is on.

Adding the App

  1. Install Waitlist first so the waitlist captures names and details.
  2. Connect SMTP or whichever option your workspace uses until “email sender configured” banners clear.
  3. Open Apps, then Store, and install Waitlist notifications.
  4. Toggle email me when a new entry arrives when you want an internal ping.
  5. Toggle email the customer when they join if you want an automatic acknowledgement, then choose the template the form asks for.
  6. Save and add a pretend waitlist entry to test both mails.

Good to know

Some regions treat unsolicited mail strictly. Decide with counsel whether the customer email is transactional or marketing where you operate.

Usage

Let the desk react fast when demand spikes

Use this when: Staff should phone people back quickly from a monitored inbox.

You need: A shared address that stays staffed during open hours.

Send “you are on the list” reassurance

Use this when: People worry their submission vanished.

You need: Warm copy plus honest timing on when you normally reach out.

Removing the App

  1. Open Apps, then Installed apps.
  2. Remove Waitlist notifications.

What changes afterward

Automatic mails from this pipeline stop Waitlist itself stays until you uninstall it separately.
