Textbelt SMS

Textbelt is an external SMS provider. This App stores your Textbelt API key, shows how much sending credit you have left, and lets other Timelish texting features send through Textbelt.

Adding the App​

  1. Sign up at Textbelt, buy message credit, and copy your API key.
  2. In Timelish, open Apps, then Store, and install Textbelt SMS.
  3. Paste the key, save, and wait until the panel shows a healthy connection or remaining credits.
  4. Add another App that actually sends texts (for example customer or staff notifications) if Timelish prompts you.

If the key fails or credit reads zero, verify your Textbelt account and Apps troubleshooting.

Good to know​

Follow local SMS laws. You usually need consent, clear opt-out language, and honest sender identity. Legal questions belong with your adviser, not only with Textbelt help pages.

Usage​

Predictable pay-as-you-go texting​

Use this when: You want to top up credit before busy seasons.

You need: Enough balance before large campaigns so messages are not cut off mid-day.

Removing the App​

  1. Open Apps, then Installed apps.
  2. Open Textbelt SMS and remove the key or uninstall the App.

What changes afterward​

Timelish stops sending SMS through Textbelt until you connect it again.

Outside Timelish​

Delete unused API keys inside Textbelt so old keys cannot be misused. Unused prepaid credit follows Textbelt refund rules, not Timelish.
