Text message notification

Sends SMS to you or an override number when appointment events happen: new requests, confirmations, declines, reschedules depending on how your workspace wires handlers. It parallels Email notification but reaches your phone.

Adding the App​

  1. Install Textbelt SMS first and confirm you have texting credit.
  2. Open Apps, then Store, and add Text message notification (Text message appointment notifications naming may appear internally same idea).
  3. Optional: type a phone override if alerts should go to a shared operations line instead of your profile phone.
  4. Save and trigger a test booking to prove delivery.

Good to know​

Each text subtracts Textbelt credit. Keep rules lean if you book hundreds per day.

Usage​

Mobile owners who rarely read email onsite​

Use this when: Phones buzz faster than laptops.

You need: Correct country codes on numbers and phones that accept short business texts.

Escalate urgent changes to on-call staff​

Use this when: Overnight auto-booking must ping a duty phone.

You need: Agreement on who owns the override number when it rotates.

Removing the App​

  1. Open Apps, then Installed apps.
  2. Remove Text message notification.

What changes afterward​

You lose automatic SMS pings. Watch email or open admin for live activity.
