Email notification
Email notification emails you or your chosen address when appointment activity happens: new bookings, updates, cancellations, and similar milestones. Messages can include an attached calendar invite so you can tap Add to calendar on your phone.
Adding the App
- Prefer SMTP if you send from your own domain. Shared Timelish mail works only when your workspace already has outbound email configured elsewhere.
- Open Apps, then Store, and install Email notification.
- Enter Send to email when you want a different inbox than your account default (leave blank to use your primary email).
- Save until the setup reports success.

Good to know
This App speaks to staff or internal mailboxes. Messages to paying clients about their bookings use Customer email notification unless your workspace routes differently.
Usage
Get an email the moment someone books online
Use this when: You want a fast inbox alert without opening admin all day.
You need: A reachable email address or mailbox.
Attach calendar files for quick adds
Use this when: You live by Google Calendar Apple Calendar Outlook from inbox actions.
You need: A mail client that displays attachments.
Route alerts to operations@ instead of owners@
Use this when: Front desk should triage confirmations.
You need: The typed address spelled correctly plus deliverability basics (not treated as spam).
Removing the App
- Open Apps, then Installed apps.
- Open Email notification and remove or uninstall it.
What changes afterward
You stop receiving these automatic mailbox updates. Appointment changes still occur in Timelish; monitoring moves to dashboards or manual checks.
