Text message resender

When customers reply to business texts, this App forwards that reply to your phone number (or another number you enter) so you can keep chatting from your handset. It is meant for personal follow-up, not as a full help desk.

Adding the App

  1. Ensure Textbelt SMS stays healthy and inbound replies are already reaching Timelish.
  2. Open Apps, then Store, and install Text message resender.
  3. Optionally set a phone override field if forwards should reach a teammate or shared handset.
  4. Save. Ask a coworker’s phone to reply to an outbound SMS and confirm you receive the forwarded copy.

Forwarded texts sometimes land silently if the phone filters unknown senders. Check Apps troubleshooting and device Focus modes.

Treat forwarded messages like client data lock handsets respect privacy trainings.

Usage

Owner moves between appointments without dashboards

Use this when: You still need conversational SMS slips.

You need: Discipline responding from official lines so chats stay searchable later if required.

Rotating coordinator phone nightly

Use this when: One duty person carries the baton.

You need: Update override numbers when shifts change nightly checklist item.

Removing the App

  1. Open Apps, then Installed apps.
  2. Remove Text message resender.

What changes afterward

Customer replies stay inside Timelish only. Nobody receives automatic phone forwards until you reinstall this App.
