Smart schedule
Smart schedule shapes how Timelish fills open time: for example, whether it may skip breaks when nothing else fits, prefers back-to-back appointments, favors later starts, allows slightly unconventional start times for a tighter day, or gives priority to a specific service when demand matters.
Adding the App
- Finish your base hours with Weekly schedule (or equivalent) first. Smart schedule refines suggestions; it does not replace core hours alone.
- Open Apps, then Store, and install Smart schedule.
- Open its settings and turn options on or off using the hints next to each switch.
- Save. Try a few test bookings on the public page to see if slots feel right.
If settings will not save, see Apps troubleshooting.
Usage
Fill the day with fewer awkward gaps
Use this when: You want more back-to-back bookings when possible.
You need: Realistic service lengths and breaks, or the optimiser may pack the day too tight.
Protect breaks unless there is no other choice
Use this when: Breaks matter for meals or clean-up, but you still want a booking if nothing else works.
You need: Clear team agreement on when “skip break” is acceptable.
Prioritise one high-value service
Use this when: Certain services should win open slots when the optimiser chooses.
You need: That service set in the “preferred service” field when your UI offers it.
Removing the App
- Open Apps, then Installed apps.
- Remove or disable Smart schedule.
What changes afterward
Timelish falls back to simpler slot picking. Your weekly hours and other calendar rules still apply.
