Busy events
Busy events are simple blocks you create inside Timelish: lunch breaks, transit, holidays, meetings, or any time clients should not be able to book you. No outside calendar account is required.
Adding the App
- Open Apps, then Store.
- Install Busy events (there is usually nothing to sign in to).
- Open the Busy events screens from Apps or scheduling (labels match your workspace) to create blocks.
If the screens do not appear, refresh or contact support. See Apps troubleshooting if you see unexpected errors.
Usage
Block lunch or breaks
Use this when: You want the booking page closed for fixed daily gaps.
You need: Permission to manage busy blocks for that location or person.
Block a vacation day or training
Use this when: The whole day or several days should be unavailable.
You need: The right week or date range selected so you do not block the wrong week.
Recurring closures
Use this when: The same blackout repeats (for example every Monday morning).
You need: Your workspace supports recurrence on busy events; if not, add blocks manually per week.
Removing the App
- Open Apps, then Installed apps.
- Remove or uninstall Busy events if your workspace allows it.
What changes afterward
You may lose the in-product busy block tool. Past blocks may still appear in history depending on retention. Google or Outlook sync is separate; removing Busy events does not remove those calendar Apps.
