Gift Card Studio

Lets clients buy stored-value gifts you can redeem toward bookings or retail. Use it when gifting is core to holidays corporate programs or packages that should feel on-brand.

Adding the App​

  1. Confirm local rules on expiry disclosures unclaimed balances and accounting treatment with your finance adviser if needed.
  2. Open Apps → App Store choose Gift Card Studio finish install.
  3. Set artwork denominations velocity limits and any fraud alerts your team expects.
  4. Connect the payment processor you already use (Stripe, Square, or PayPal per your workspace) so purchases settle correctly.

Usage​

Sell digital gifts by email or SMS​

What it is for: Buyers send a branded code or link recipients redeem online.

Prerequisites: Customer email notification and/or Customer text message notification if you automate delivery—or a clear manual fulfilment workflow.

Corporate bulk programmes​

What it is for: Employers buy many cards under one invoice or approval flow.

Prerequisites: Pricing tax and purchaser identity checks meet your policies.

Track partial balances and reminders​

What it is for: Reduce forgotten value leftover on cards.

Prerequisites: Staff knows how redemption affects reporting in Financial Overview.

Reduce fraud across sudden bulk purchases​

What it is for: Pause or review suspicious bursts before issuance.

Prerequisites: Alerts reviewed by someone on-call escalation path documented.

Removing the App​

  1. Open Installed apps choose Gift Card Studio uninstall or disconnect as labelled.
  2. Decide how open balances are honoured—you may owe clients service until liabilities are settled.

After you disconnect​

Sales of new cards stop redemption may be limited by product behaviour confirm in UI banners support if unsure.

Data handling​

Timelish retains historical gift-card records per retention policies your workspace uses for invoicing audits and disputes.

Pause marketing pages advertising cards archive exports for finance revoke unused API privileges at your payment vendor if directed by security.
